Give the seal room to breathe.

Maintain a minimum clearspace equal to half the mark's diameter on every side. Nothing — type, photography, UI chrome, page edges — should encroach on this margin.

Use on navy or cream.

The mark is built to sit on the two house surfaces. Both pass contrast.

Use on pale gold tints.

Tints below 12% gold are safe behind the seal at full opacity.

Don't lay over busy photography.

Place the mark in a solid swatch first; photos sit beside, not behind.

Scale uniformly.

Hold the aspect ratio. The seal is round — keep it round.

Don't stretch or squash.

Any non-uniform scale breaks the ring geometry.

Navy + antique gold + cream are the only sanctioned values.

Navy carries authority and structure. Gold marks what is sacred and active. Cream is the page. All neutrals lean warm.

Georgia serif sets the literary tone for headings and body. System sans handles UI labels and metadata at small sizes.

Spacing is generous but bounded — the system breathes without sprawling.

Tabler outline icons throughout. Stroke weight kept consistent across sizes; never mix outline with filled.

White background, half-pixel hairline border, 12 px radius. The default vessel for any unit of content.

Pill shape, half-pixel border. Toggled state replaces the white fill with a 12% gold wash and shifts the border to full gold.

Primary in navy. Secondary in transparent with hairline. A 6 px gold dot precedes the primary action when paired in a row.

Two callout patterns share a 4 px gold left border. The accent bar is for emphasis; the prophetic edge is italic and slightly deeper.

The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ — and the gospel begins, curiously, with a man in the wilderness. Not in the temple. Not in the palace. In the wilderness, where the only audience is the wind.

Movement I · Argument

The gospel begins where the empire ends. It begins in the place no one is watching.

John appeared, baptizing in the wilderness and proclaiming a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. The Greek μετάνοια is not regret. It is a turning of the whole self — a re-direction of where the body is walking.

Make ready the way of the Lord — and the wilderness shall sing. — Isaiah 40 · 3 (paraphrase)
